The Asiago 7 Comuni Plateau includes eight villages founded a thousand
years ago by the Cimber people. This area is ideal for sports, relaxation
and culture. Whether you're young or not so young, you can unwind
at over 1000metres above sea level and admire the 2300 metres peaks
protecting the area from the cold northern winds. The landscapes present
the sunshine for 8-9 hour per day.
During the summer: there is horse-riding, tennis, ice skating and
you can discover nature and history of the territory by mountain biking
or trekking. For those who like walking there is the chance to call
in one of the areas local farms and taste freshl;y made "Asiago
Cheese". Anyone who likes the mountain will be fully satisfied
by the peace of this place.
During the winter: fascinating, magic and quiet it offers many entertaining
possibilities. Asiago is facsinating not only during the "white
season", but it is quiet and magic and offers several entertainments
all over the season. It is possible to ski in 22 skiing areas equipped
with 96 skiing facilities. There are more than 300km of cross-country
ski tracks, there are gyms, swimming pools, ice rinks, ice speedway
track, ski jumps, night clubs, beautiful boutiques and above the 8-9
hours of sun per day.
