Riva del Garda Located
in a splendid gulf protected by Monte Brione, Riva dominates all the
upper Garda area. It is the most important commercial centre of the
north-western part of the lake and the natural transit point for all
the tourists who arrive at Lake Garda from the Brenner Pass. It is
equipped with a practical, modern conference centre and a wide range
of accomodation facilities and it provides a full calender of cultural
activities and events throughout the year. In the waters around the
town only sailing crafts are permitted.
